MRI uses a strong magnet to take the pictures. \u00a0For our studies, we use the 3T Siemens Prisma MRI at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cia.ini.usc.edu\/home\/participant\">USC's Center for Image Acquisition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is MRI safe?<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes. MRI does not use radiation and no injections or contrasts are involved in our MRI studies.
